  1. The Twilight Zone Theme for Win95 and the Plus! pack.

  7. This also includes replacement startup and shutdown screens (to 
  8. replace the Win95 logo with clouds when you first start up and 
  9. the two screens ("please wait..." and "it is now safe..")
  10.  
  11. All Icons, and Cursors were found on the net and modified by me
  12. or created by me.  Screen Saver, found on the Internet.
  13. Background BMP was found on the net and modified by me.
  14.  
  15. Sounds found on the net and converted from au to wav and modified for
  16. length and appropriateness.

  18. Twilight Zone is a  registered trademark (I think) and
  19. Microsoft, Win95, and PLUS! are registered Trademarks of Microsoft Corp
  20.  
  21. Please give me some feedback on the theme pack.  This is my first and I
  22. hope you like it.

  24. Feel Free to distriute this, but not to sell for profit, since I imagine
  25. the Powers that Be will get you for messing with their
  26. trademarks.

  30.                           INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
  31.  
  32.  
  33. 1.   Unzip the archive file using a 32 bit archive tool (such as WinZip)
  34.      capable of handling long file names.  THIS IS IMPORTANT.  Unzip to 
  35.      a temporary directory if you wish.
  36.  
  37. 2.   Move the BMP file to the c:\Windows directory.
  38.  
  39. 3.   Move the SCR file to the c:\Windows\System directory.
  40.  
  41. 4.   Move the *.theme file to the Plus!\Themes directory.
  42.  
  43. 5.   If you want to replace your startup/shutdown screens, do the following:
  44.        - Move the logo.sys, logos.sys, and logow.sys files to a temporary
  45.          directory.  You will find the logow.sys and logos.sys in the windows
  46.          directory and the logo.sys in the root (C:\) directory.
  47.        - Move the *.sys files as follows
  48.             logo.sys   -->  C:\
  49.             logow.sys  -->  C:\Windows
  50.             logos.sys  -->  C:\Windows
  51.  
  52. 5.   Move the rest of the files to a new directory named Twilight Zone that you 
  53.      create below the Plus!\Themes directory.
